Update (2.1.0) released September 12, 2009
This update improves min.ie URL's by using a button, on the bottom right of each file, instead of replacing the full length URL. It is also compatible with the latest update to Localhostr. Finally, the storage system for history has been rewritten, allowing future updates without erasing your history. However, this update will erase your history in order to implement the new system. This is a required update for those who want to continue using the widget, as Localhostr has revamped the API.
Super fast
The Localhostr Widget 2.0 makes use of the improved CSS3 support included in Safari 4, meaning that it runs much faster than any previous release, and loads faster on a cold Dashboard launch. No more long waits to upload a file.
Beautiful thumbnails
To the left of each file name, you will now see a thumbnail, wrapped in a gorgeous frame, whenever possible.
Easy to use
The Localhostr widget sits in your dashboard, always available at the press of a key. Just drag any file, 50 megabytes or smaller, onto the widget. Your file will be uploaded, alerting you through Growl if possible upon completion. You can even drag several files at once, and they will upload simultaneously.

Always at your fingertips
Every time you upload a file, its address will be saved into your “Recently Uploaded Files”, and will stay there until you say differently. In addition, with a localhostr account, the widget will add each file to your account history for access from any computer, anywhere in the world.
